1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

Welcome to AIT International Academy. By accessing or using our website (myaituc.com), enrolling in our programs, or utilizing our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our website or services.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“Student,” “User,” or “you”) and AIT International Academy (“we,” “us,” or “our”). We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of our services following any changes indicates your acceptance of the modified Terms.

2. DEFINITIONS

2.1. “Services”

Refers to all educational programs, courses, online learning platforms, study materials, counseling, placement assistance, and related services offered by AIT International Academy.

2.2. “Programs”

Includes all MBA, BBA, DBA, and other degree, diploma, or certification courses offered through AIT International Academy.

2.3. “Platform”

Refers to our website, mobile applications, learning management systems, and any digital infrastructure used to deliver our Services.

2.4. “Content”

Means all text, graphics, images, videos, audio, software, data compilations, course materials, and other materials available through our Services.

3. ELIGIBILITY AND ENROLLMENT

3.1. Eligibility Requirements

  • You must meet the minimum age and educational qualifications specified for each program
  • You must provide accurate, complete, and current information during the enrollment process
  • You are responsible for ensuring you meet all eligibility criteria for your chosen program

3.2. Enrollment Process

  • Enrollment is subject to acceptance by AIT International Academy and our affiliated universities
  • We reserve the right to reject any application without providing reasons
  • Enrollment confirmation is provided only after complete documentation and fee payment
  • All admissions are provisional until verified by the affiliated university

3.3. Documentation

  • You must submit authentic, original, and unaltered educational documents
  • Submission of false, forged, or misleading documents will result in immediate termination of enrollment without refund
  • You authorize us to verify the authenticity of all submitted documents
  • We reserve the right to retain copies of all submitted documents

4. FEES AND PAYMENT

4.1. Program Fees

  • All fees are clearly stated during the enrollment process
  • Fees are subject to change for future academic years
  • Published fees include tuition but may exclude examination fees, university fees, material charges, and other specified costs

4.2. Payment Terms

  • Fees must be paid according to the schedule provided at enrollment
  • Payment can be made through bank transfer, online payment, cheque, or installment plans as specified
  • Installment payments must be completed as per agreed schedule
  • Late payment may attract penalties and/or suspension of services

4.3. Non-Payment Consequences

  • Failure to pay fees may result in:
    • Suspension of access to learning materials and classes
    • Ineligibility for examinations
    • Withholding of certificates or degrees
    • Termination of enrollment
  • Outstanding dues must be cleared before issuance of any certificates

5. REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY

5.1. Cancellation Before Course Commencement

  • Cancellations made 30+ days before course start: 90% refund
  • Cancellations made 15-29 days before course start: 70% refund
  • Cancellations made 7-14 days before course start: 50% refund
  • Cancellations made less than 7 days before course start: 25% refund
  • Registration and processing fees are non-refundable

5.2. Cancellation After Course Commencement

  • No refund is provided once the course has commenced
  • Students may request course transfer subject to availability and administrative fees

5.3. Refund Processing

  • All approved refunds will be processed within 30-45 business days
  • Refunds will be credited to the original payment method
  • Bank charges or processing fees may be deducted from the refund amount

5.4. Non-Refundable Fees

  • Application/Registration fees
  • Examination fees remitted to university
  • Material/Study kit costs already delivered
  • University processing fees

6. ACADEMIC POLICIES

6.1. Attendance and Participation

  • Students must maintain minimum attendance requirements as specified by the program and affiliated university
  • Regular participation in classes, assignments, and assessments is mandatory
  • Poor attendance may result in academic penalties or ineligibility for examinations

6.2. Academic Integrity

  • Students must maintain the highest standards of academic honesty
  • Plagiarism, cheating, or any form of academic dishonesty is strictly prohibited
  • Violations may result in:
    • Failure in the assignment/exam
    • Suspension or expulsion from the program
    • Reporting to affiliated university and regulatory bodies

6.3. Course Completion

  • Students must complete all program requirements within the stipulated timeframe
  • Extensions may be granted only under exceptional circumstances with additional fees
  • Failure to complete within maximum duration may require re-enrollment

6.4. Examinations

  • Students must comply with all examination rules and regulations
  • Examination schedules are determined by affiliated universities
  • We are not responsible for changes in examination dates by universities
  • Examination fees are separate and must be paid as per university requirements

7. LEARNING MATERIALS AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

7.1. Ownership

  • All course materials, content, trademarks, and intellectual property remain the property of AIT International Academy and/or affiliated universities
  • Study materials are licensed to students for personal, non-commercial educational use only

7.2. Restrictions

  • Students may not:
    • Reproduce, distribute, or publish course materials
    • Share login credentials or access with unauthorized persons
    • Record, screenshot, or copy online classes without permission
    • Use materials for commercial purposes
    • Modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works

7.3. License Grant

  • Students receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use course materials during enrollment
  • This license terminates upon course completion or enrollment termination

8. ONLINE LEARNING PLATFORM

8.1. Account Security

  • You are responsible for maintaining confidentiality of login credentials
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Account sharing is strictly prohibited
  • We are not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized account use

8.2. Platform Usage

  • You agree to use the platform only for legitimate educational purposes
  • Prohibited activities include:
    • Uploading malicious software or harmful code
    • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to systems
    • Interfering with other users’ access or experience
    • Harvesting or collecting user information

8.3. Platform Availability

  • We strive to maintain platform availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access
  • Scheduled maintenance may temporarily limit access
  • We are not liable for technical issues, internet connectivity problems, or third-party service failures

9. CERTIFICATION AND DEGREES

9.1. Issuance

  • Certificates and degrees are issued by the affiliated universities
  • Issuance is subject to successful completion of all program requirements
  • Students must clear all outstanding dues before certificate release

9.2. Validity and Recognition

  • Recognition of degrees/certificates is subject to university accreditation and regulatory approvals
  • Students are responsible for verifying program recognition for their intended purpose
  • We do not guarantee employment, further education admission, or specific career outcomes

9.3. Verification

  • We may provide certificate verification services to third parties with student consent
  • Students authorize us to confirm their enrollment and academic records when requested

10. PLACEMENT ASSISTANCE AND CAREER SERVICES

10.1. Services Provided

  • Career counseling and guidance
  • Resume building and interview preparation
  • Job opportunity information sharing
  • Industry networking events (when available)

10.2. No Guarantee

  • Placement assistance does not guarantee employment
  • Final selection is at the sole discretion of employers
  • We are not responsible for employer decisions, job offers, or employment terms

10.3. Student Responsibility

  • Students must actively participate in placement activities
  • Students are responsible for their own job search and career development
  • Declining job opportunities without valid reason may affect future assistance

11. PRIVACY AND DATA PROTECTION

11.1. Information Collection

  • We collect personal, academic, and financial information necessary for providing services
  • Information is used for enrollment, education delivery, communication, and administrative purposes

11.2. Information Sharing

  • We may share information with:
    • Affiliated universities for academic purposes
    • Payment processors for financial transactions
    • Service providers supporting our operations
    • Regulatory authorities as required by law

11.3. Data Security

  • We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information
  • However, no internet transmission is completely secure
  • You acknowledge the inherent risks of electronic communication

11.4. Communication

  • By enrolling, you consent to receive communications from us via email, SMS, phone, or WhatsApp
  • Communications may include academic updates, promotional offers, and important notifications
  • You may opt-out of promotional communications but will still receive essential academic notices

12. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

12.1. Services Provided “As Is”

  • Our services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind
  • We do not warrant that services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure

12.2. Educational Outcomes

  • We do not guarantee specific academic results, grades, or learning outcomes
  • Student success depends on individual effort, dedication, and participation

12.3. Third-Party Content

  • We may provide links to third-party websites or resources
  • We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of third-party sites
  • Third-party services are subject to their own terms and privacy policies

13. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

13.1. Liability Cap

  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the fees paid by you for the specific program

13.2. Excluded Damages

  • We are not liable for:
    • Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
    • Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
    • Personal injury or property damage (except as required by law)

13.3. University Actions

  • We are not liable for actions, decisions, or policies of affiliated universities
  • Changes in university policies, program structure, or recognition are beyond our control

14. STUDENT CONDUCT

14.1. Expected Behavior

  • Students must conduct themselves professionally and respectfully
  • Harassment, discrimination, or abusive behavior toward staff, faculty, or other students is prohibited

14.2. Disciplinary Actions

  • Violations may result in:
    • Warning or counseling
    • Temporary suspension
    • Permanent expulsion without refund
    • Legal action if applicable

14.3. Campus/Facility Rules

  • Students must comply with all rules when using physical facilities
  • Damage to property may result in financial liability

15. FORCE MAJEURE

We are not liable for failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters (earthquakes, floods, pandemics)
  • War, terrorism, or civil unrest
  • Government actions or regulatory changes
  • Labor strikes or disputes
  • Technical failures or internet outages
  • Actions of affiliated universities

During such events, we will make reasonable efforts to minimize disruption and provide alternative arrangements where possible.

16. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

16.1. Informal Resolution

  • Any disputes should first be addressed through our student support team
  • We encourage good faith efforts to resolve issues amicably

16.2. Mediation

  • If informal resolution fails, parties agree to attempt mediation before pursuing legal action

16.3. Jurisdiction

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates
  • Exclusive jurisdiction lies with the courts of Ras Al Khaimah, UAE
  • All disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of UAE courts only

17. TERMINATION

17.1. By Student

  • Students may withdraw from programs subject to the cancellation policy
  • Written notice must be provided
  • All outstanding fees must be settled

17.2. By AIT International Academy

  • We may terminate enrollment for:
    • Non-payment of fees
    • Academic misconduct or integrity violations
    • Violation of these Terms
    • Behavior detrimental to the institution or other students
    • Providing false information or documents

17.3. Effect of Termination

  • Upon termination, access to all services and materials ceases immediately
  • No refunds are provided for terminations due to student violations
  • Students remain liable for all outstanding fees

18. AMENDMENTS TO TERMS

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of modified Terms. Material changes will be communicated via email or platform notifications.

19. SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be replaced with a valid provision that most closely matches the intent of the original.

20. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any program-specific policies, constitute the entire agreement between you and AIT International Academy regarding the use of our services. These Terms supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals.

22. ACKNOWLEDGMENT

By enrolling in our programs or using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. You confirm that you have the legal capacity to enter into this binding agreement.
